Wodall Country House - township tour

What a day! We booked, although we were hasitating, finally a township tour. Here the facts: at 9 am Walter, a guide picked us in Wodall. 20 minutes drive, and we are in a different world. First impressions: dirty, dusty, chaotic, poor poor poor, hundreds of black people without employment, sitting in front of their huts, walking on the roads, among goats, dogs, donkeys, damaged old cars, babies, old people, ..... Then we get in contact with the people: a hairdresser, young people along the road, who know Walter, nearly all people on the road  waving at us, smiling, happy and curious to see us, children in a pre-school, teachers in a secondary school, an old wise witch doctor, all without any exception black, friendly people. Incredible experience. A guitarist, 26 years old, just having lost his job at a service station, dreaming of a career as musician, plays for us and sings for us, great voice. We encourage him to go on, hopefully it helped. Then about 50 small children in a pre-school, an area like an island within the township, clean, well organized, very friendly teachers, singing and clapping children, looking at us like at aliens.
